Message we have natural resources to last us for many hundreds of years within our national territory. And we have all the state of the art drilling technology developed and deployed here. We have more coal, natural gas and oil within our territory than we could ever need. And we have nuclear power. Pick your poison. Green energy technologies are never going to be able to sustain human civilization. But yet our president issues a drilling moratorium. Our EPA regulates deisel out of efficiency and it is now consistently more expensive than premium grade gasoline. That alone hurts the economy and puts a lot of people that rely on deisel out of business. Self employed truckers and commercial drivers for instance. So we are paying $4.00/gal to fill up the Z because there is a huge tax and we regulate ourselves out of competition. 90% of US deisel is EXPORTED becuase it doesnt meet the EPA's new standards. But it is good enough for the rest of the world including Europe. Our problems are our own fault and we complain because there is an elite few academics in Washington setting policies that are only un proven theories. By the time the disastrous outcomes are bearing down on us full force, these people have been out of office for an election season or two. What do they care? They tried to save mother earth. Obama is showering Brazil with petrol dollars to drill right off our own coastline, and then sell us the oil. The Russians, French, Spanish, BRITISH, they are all drilling 1 mile outside our national boundaries, probably using directional drilling to tap our oil deposits.

Bottom line: We have everything we need here internally but we regulate ourselves out of efficiency and are forced to accept the premise of OPEC dictating our economy. We are literally financing these Arab dictators that are killing their own citizens. Why would we support that?
